We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager, with a big passion for regulatory and biscuits. This is a very exciting opportunity to ensure the legal compliance of all pladis products sold mainly within France and across the region of Europe and Developing Markets (EDM). Your goal will be to provide sound regulatory information and advice to support product launches and re-designs in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with local regulations and pladis policies. You will be reporting to the Regional Head of the Regulatory Affairs for the EDM Region within a team of regulatory experts.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure regulatory compliance of pladis brands regarding product formulation, pack copy generation and artwork sign-off
Working closely with R&D, convert recipe details into pack copy information to appropriate legal formats
Review and sign-off artwork designs against relevant pack copy for legal compliance
Understand pladis allergen matrices and apply accordingly to ensure packs are labelled with the accurate allergen warnings
Represent the Regulatory Affairs team where appropriate with project team meetings
Keep abreast of development and trends of the food & health regulations and local and international policies that could impact our business
Requirements:
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Law or other food science-based degree
A knowledge/understanding of EU Food Legislation, guidelines and codes of practice
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to the agreed timelines
Good communication in French and English, influencing skills
Proven project management and implementation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
High level of digital literacy & proficiency in using web-based specification systems
Strong numeracy skills and proactive working style
Works autonomously, but also a good teammate in collaboration
At least 3-5 years of experience with a good knowledge of ingredients, finished recipes concerning biscuits and confectionery products
Nice to have:
Experience in the local trade associations, develop common positions and communications which can support the business
