Job Description

Reporting to the GM Science & Development, this role provides authoritative regulatory expertise across Australian and international markets, ensuring full compliance with critical regulatory standards. The position also plays a key role in shaping regulatory strategy and providing thought leadership across the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead regulatory approvals for new and existing products across Australian and international markets, including managing submissions and external agency engagement
  • Provide clear regulatory advice to internal stakeholders, influencing decisions and proactively identifying risks and opportunities
  • Act as the primary regulatory contact across the Kiwicare Group for compliance guidance on all products
  • Partner with R&D to support product development, advising on regulatory pathways and contributing to innovation strategy
  • Conduct regulatory risk assessments and manage external consultants to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives

Requirements

  • 3-4 years experience preparing and managing regulatory submissions to APVMA
  • Strong understanding of APVMA regulations, particularly for weed and pest control products
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in chemistry, biology, agriculture or a related science discipline
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to identify risks and practical solutions
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across stakeholders

Nice to have

Exposure to EPA and ACVM advantageous
