Reporting to the GM Science & Development, this role provides authoritative regulatory expertise across Australian and international markets, ensuring full compliance with critical regulatory standards. The position also plays a key role in shaping regulatory strategy and providing thought leadership across the business.
Job Responsibility:
Lead regulatory approvals for new and existing products across Australian and international markets, including managing submissions and external agency engagement
Provide clear regulatory advice to internal stakeholders, influencing decisions and proactively identifying risks and opportunities
Act as the primary regulatory contact across the Kiwicare Group for compliance guidance on all products
Partner with R&D to support product development, advising on regulatory pathways and contributing to innovation strategy
Conduct regulatory risk assessments and manage external consultants to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives
Requirements:
3-4 years experience preparing and managing regulatory submissions to APVMA
Strong understanding of APVMA regulations, particularly for weed and pest control products
Relevant tertiary qualification in chemistry, biology, agriculture or a related science discipline
Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to identify risks and practical solutions
High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across stakeholders
