Job Description:

We are looking for a Regular Software Developer / Implementation Engineer (Java) to join a long-term development team working on Cytric Expense, a business-critical Expense Management System used by enterprise customers. In this role, you will work in a SAFe / Agile environment, combining backend software development with hands-on customer implementation and configuration. You will design scalable backend solutions, implement and migrate customer configurations, and support customer-requested logic changes, working closely with Product, QA, and Functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and implementing high-quality, scalable backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot
  • Analysing functional and technical specifications and translating them into feasible technical solutions
  • Writing clean, readable, and testable code aligned with engineering best practices
  • Performing unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure solution reliability

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of commercial experience as a Software Developer or Implementation Engineer
  • Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot in backend development
  • Good knowledge of SQL, XML, and REST APIs
  • Experience with writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including unit and integration testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows

Nice to have:

  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON, or configuration-driven systems
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Gradle, OpenShift, or similar tools
  • Previous exposure to SAFe / Agile environments
