Job Description

Obtains moderately complex financial information regarding patients from various sources to obtain payment plan agreements and Medicare coverage. Interviews customers for data retrieval. Abstracts medical information necessary from the mother's and baby's chart for completion of the birth certificate form. Retains and understands federal, state, and county regulations as it pertains to birth registry. Completes Paternity Acknowledgements submitted to the state. Locates and orders medical charts when necessary. Reports Immunizations via EBC program. Must Attend appropriate courses for Birth Registrar.
