Job Description:

Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking to recruit veterinary nurses in the following roles: Clinical Nurse Lead and Registered Veterinary Nurses. Also an opening for a Twilight Nurse on a fixed-term basis for maternity cover.

Job Responsibility:

  • Line-manage a portion of nurse and care assistant teams (for Clinical Nurse Lead)
  • Work clinically across prep and ward departments as needed
  • Lead by example in demonstrating the highest level of patient care
  • Provide advanced nursing care to patients receiving pioneering orthopaedic and neurological treatments

Requirements:

  • Registered veterinary nurse
  • Experience in people management (for Clinical Nurse Lead)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Passion for training and mentoring
  • Dedicated and passionate
  • Ability to provide advanced nursing care to patients receiving pioneering orthopaedic and neurological treatments

  • perform advanced imaging (including CT, training provided)
  • and support the referral process through liaison with clients and referring practices
