Do you prioritise delivering excellent patient and client care? Our thriving independent practice in Guildford are looking for a Registered Vet Nurse to join our busy practice. About the Practice - We are an independently owned, family-run small animal veterinary clinic based in Guildford, providing the highest standard of care in a professional yet friendly environment. Established in summer 2022, the practice builds on a long-standing veterinary presence at the site, which dates back to the late 1970s. Following a full refurbishment, the clinic now benefits from modern equipment, updated surgical techniques, and improved facilities, creating an excellent working environment for the team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional veterinary care with a personal touch. We understand and value the relationship clients have with their pets, and aim to ensure every animal we care for remains healthy and, most importantly, happy. Our approach combines accurate diagnostics, compassionate treatment, and clear client communication, all within a safe and supportive workplace. We are also committed to maintaining a traditional, friendly ethos while continuing to invest in the practice both technologically and aesthetically. Our team currently consists of: 4 full-time vets, 1 Head RVN, 2 nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, A dedicated reception team. The practice has two consult rooms, with vets seeing a varied caseload and performing an average of up to 5 operations per day. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive and inclusive working environment where every member of staff feels valued. We offer unlimited CPD with full support towards certificates and actively encourage investment in new equipment to support clinical excellence. The Role - This is a full-time RVN position involving a mix of all nursing duties, with no nurse consults or reception responsibilities. Average of 33 hours across weekdays (with flexibility to tailor your rota) 1 in 4 weekends.
