If so, this could be an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a home requiring strong leadership and operational improvement. We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join a well-established national elderly care provider, to lead one of their services in the Liverpool area. The home provides nursing, residential and dementia care to older adults and forms part of a wider portfolio of services across the UK. This role will suit a hands-on, improvement-focused leader who is comfortable working within a turnaround environment and enjoys building stability across teams, processes and culture. You will be responsible for the overall operational leadership of the home, ensuring high standards of care are delivered while supporting the development of a motivated and engaged workforce. The successful candidate will benefit from the support of a Deputy Manager and experienced Regional leadership team, enabling you to focus on driving improvements and embedding sustainable practices across the service.
Job Responsibility:
Provide strong and visible leadership across a home delivering nursing, residential and dementia care
Drive improvements in quality, compliance and overall home performance
Lead recruitment, retention and development of the staff team
Maintain and improve CQC standards and governance frameworks
Foster a positive culture centred on resident wellbeing and staff engagement
Build relationships with families, healthcare professionals and community partners
Ensure effective management of occupancy, staffing and operational performance
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within elderly care
Background managing homes providing nursing, dementia and residential care
Demonstrable success maintaining or improving CQC inspection outcomes
Strong leadership capability with focus on team development and retention
Commercial awareness and the ability to drive operational improvements
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
