Aspens Charities are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Service Manager to lead two well-established residential services, St Matts and St Saviours, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and associated mental health needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated manager who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care while leading and developing a dedicated staff team.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, manage, and develop a large staff team across two residential services
Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding and quality assurance processes
Manage recruitment, supervision, appraisals and staff development
Ensure effective budget and resource management
Promote person-centred care that supports independence, choice and dignity
Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, and external professionals
Drive service growth, development, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Previous management experience within residential care services
Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation
Experience managing staff performance, HR processes, and investigations
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Nice to have:
Driving licence
Experience supporting people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs
Knowledge of budget management and service development
