Job Description:

Consensus is seeking a new service manager to lead our amazing team in Croydon, London. This supported living service is a perfect home for those looking to live independently, but with specialist help to support 24/7. This apartment-based supported living model gives individuals the freedom, independence and responsibility of their own high-spec apartment, along with shared access to outdoor spaces and communal areas. From ensuring the service runs smoothly and achieves quality excellence, to encouraging personal growth & development of the team – every day is unique.

Job Responsibility:

  • Enable the people we support to lead a fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential
  • Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised, and that they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel in their current role and future career
  • Ensure the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality
  • Effectively manage financial performance, with financial resources appropriately managed & controlled
  • Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes, ensuring that the business is run in an efficient and responsible manner
  • Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance
  • Be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

Requirements:

  • Plenty of experience working with those with Learning Disabilities or complex behaviours
  • Experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge – with a background in Supported Living or Residential Services
  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident, flexible and efficient – happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call
