Baptist Health is seeking to add a Registered Respiratory Therapist to our Clay location in Fleming Island. This is a full-time shift opportunity. At Baptist Health, a Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory or breathing disorders. This role involves administering respiratory therapy treatments, performing diagnostic pulmonary function tests, managing and monitoring mechanical ventilators, and providing patient education and respiratory care support. The Respiratory Therapist collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibility:

Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders
Administering respiratory therapies
Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests
Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory support
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Providing patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes
Maintaining accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation

Certificate
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
Driver's License - DMV
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - AAP
Registered Respiratory Therapist - DOH
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NBRC
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA
