Job Description:

mma is seeking a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to help lead and grow our DFW survey practice, with a strong emphasis on land development. This role is ideal for a surveyor who thinks like an owner—someone who wants to build, influence, and lead, not just execute tasks. DFW is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, and mma is positioned right in the middle of it. We’re looking for a professional who sees opportunity in growth, enjoys mentoring others, and wants a meaningful leadership role in shaping how surveying is delivered within a multidisciplinary firm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead land development surveying projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex
  • Act as Surveyor of Record for boundary, ALTA, platting, and right-of-way surveys
  • Manage survey schedules, budgets, and quality control
  • Collaborate closely with civil engineering, planning, and development teams
  • Mentor and develop survey staff and field crews
  • Help define survey standards, workflows, and technology adoption
  • Support client relationships, proposals, and business development efforts
  • Play a key role in growing mma’s survey presence in DFW

Requirements:

  • Active Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license
  • Proven experience in land development surveying
  • Project management and team leadership experience (or a strong desire to grow into it)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Entrepreneurial attitude—comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
What we offer:
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Leadership visibility and long-term growth opportunities
  • People-first culture with a collaborative mindset
  • Diverse land development projects throughout North Texas
