Job Description:

Are you a Registered Pharmacist passionate about working in a specialty pharmacy setting? We're assisting an innovative non-retail pharmacy partner in the Hamilton/Stoney Creek area on their quest for an RPh to integrate into their experienced sterile compounding team. With no prior sterile compounding experience required, this would be an awesome opportunity for those who are looking to learn a non-retail setting, or applying their existing skills! This employer is known for their awesome culture, with this particular role providing work life balance and the opportunity to expand the scope of your practice as a RPh!

Job Responsibility:

Specialize in IV therapy
Overseeing IV scripts and triaging instructions and methodology of compounding to the sterile compounding team accordingly
Second and final technical checks on both triaging instructions and compounded products before final release to patients
Providing support to pharmacy team where needed with a positive team building outlook

Requirements:

Registered Pharmacist in ON and in good standing with the College of Pharmacy
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for sterile compounding and providing excellent service for all patients
Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
Experience with IV compounding is an asset
