Job Description

8 Main is a 35 bed medical-surgical nursing floor with telemetry monitoring. Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:5, but may be 1:6 at times. The patient population is so diverse it makes 8 Main a great place to learn and grow.

Job Responsibility

  • Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation for patients served
  • Serve as educator, colleague, researcher, advocate and leader
  • Demonstrate competency in assuring quality care, Process Improvement, patient and employee safety, collaboration, consultation and professional development
  • Assume responsibility for planning, organizing, delegating and evaluating patient care rendered by LPNs, technicians, Medical Receptionists and other staff

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current valid GA nursing license or eNLC nursing license
  • Current BLS
