We care for and support children and adults in the community with spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. The role of the package nurse can be extremely rewarding, it also offers flexible working if required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing exceptional care to clients in their homes
  • Working closely with the family and engaging with community nurses and hospice teams where needed
  • Providing a high standard of nursing to clients with complex needs
  • Following up-to-date care plans
  • Providing holistic person-centred care, helping the client to meet their full potential

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin
  • Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client
  • To be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate
  • A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle is required

  • Perform clinical pronouncement of death and provide support to family, as applicable to licensure
  • Maintain accurate patient records, charts, progress notes, reports and prepare care plans timely
