Registered Nurse

• Provide nursing care and advice to patients with palliative care needs
• Work within a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in all learning and development activities

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Two years minimum post-graduate experience
• Working towards a post-graduate palliative care qualification
• Experience working in palliative care in an inpatient setting or community (desirable)
• Evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills
• Critical thinking and analysis abilities
• Able to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Computer literacy with email and electronic patient record system
• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads
