The Labor and Delivery Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus provides exceptional care to families throughout our region, offering a supportive and compassionate environment for both low- and high-risk births. Our unit features 5 OB triage rooms, 13 labor rooms, and 2 obstetrical operating rooms, and we proudly welcome approximately 3,000 babies each year. We are fully staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with an in-house Laborist, continuous anesthesia coverage, and access to Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists and a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This structure allows us to provide safe, seamless care for mothers and babies at every stage. Job Responsibility:
Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
