Job Description:

Registered Nurse Days (Part Time) at Tanglewood in Horncastle. Looking for a passionate, caring individual for a rewarding job with excellent training and opportunities. Job Responsibility:

Ensure that all Team Members contribute to the efficient running of the care home
Report any ill health amongst clients and request GP / Professional visits
Ensure clients’ relatives are informed of intervention
Ensure that clients’ care plans are completed and maintained
Assess all aspects of clients’ care needs
Maintain accurate records and individualised care plans
Carry out regular checks on clients
Ensure a clear handover report is given at the end of each shift
Administer prescribed medicines
Practice maximum integrity with clients
Assist with yearly appraisals and Team Member supervisions
Participate in staff and client meetings
Establish and maintain good communication
Ensure commodities are sensibly conserved
Actively promote the care home within the local community
Ensure the care home is attractively presented and odour free
Ensure a viewing room is suitably presented
Supervise and instruct junior and new Team Members
Maintain and improve professional knowledge
Attend mandatory training
Adhere to all appropriate NMC guidelines
Maintain all required records
Ensure confidential information is not divulged
Ensure security of the care home
Adhere to all company policies
Ensure equipment is clean and well maintained
Carry out any other reasonably assigned tasks
Be conversant with the company staff handbook

Requirements:

Registered Nurse, registered with the NMC
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group
Satisfactory Police Check (DBS) and check against the ISA List
Team Player
Experience / qualification in care for relevant Client Category
Previous supervisory experience – support will be given to newly qualified staff
Professional telephone manner
