We are seeking a Registered Nurse with at least one year of experience in New Zealand who is looking to further develop their clinical capability within a supportive aged care environment. Job Responsibility:
Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care to residents
Respond proactively to changes in health status
Ensure excellence in medication management, wound care, infection prevention, falls prevention, and overall clinical oversight
Work collaboratively with Care Partners, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and families to support comprehensive care planning and positive resident outcomes
Accurate clinical assessment and documentation in line with HDSS and Nursing Council of New Zealand standards
Active participation in quality improvement and audit activities
Committed to continuous professional development
Contributes to team coordination
Supports a culture of learning, accountability, and compassionate care
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in nursing from a recognised institution
A NZ Registration and a current Practicing Certificate
Availability to work full-time on a rotating roster, including weekends
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in New Zealand
Demonstrated ability to take the lead, remain calm under pressure and be emotionally resilient
Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people, from residents, families and colleagues
Good level of fitness and a professional, well-presented approach
Applicants must have the legal risk to work in New Zealand
