Job Description:

Bethesda Mission is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to assist the Medical Clinic Manager and volunteer physicians in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role supports the clinic’s operations four days per week and is an essential part of providing holistic medical services to individuals in need.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate and deliver care that is safe, effective, equitable, timely, and patient-centered
Facilitate case coordination, information sharing, and health education for patients
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with community partners
Connect patients with primary care physicians to support wellness and autonomy
Collaborate with shelter staff to ensure continuity of care for Bethesda patients
Open and close the clinic, preparing and securing records, equipment, and supplies
Manage patient flow during clinic hours, assisting physicians as needed
Maintain accurate and organized medical records
Provide coverage on a rotating day/evening schedule
Perform other duties as assigned to support the clinic’s mission

Requirements:

Current, active RN license
At least two years of experience supporting and coordinating clinical care
Strong ability to manage stress inherent in medical clinic operations
Flexibility to provide coverage across varying schedules
Proven ability to maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with staff, volunteers, and patients
Provide a biblically sound testimony of having accepted Jesus Christ and lead a life worthy of that profession
Actively engage in private and corporate prayer, Bible study, regular church attendance, and holy living
Agree with and carry out responsibilities in accordance with the Mission’s policies, including our Code of Conduct, Statement of Faith, Document on Sexual Sin and Brokenness, Value Statement and Narratives, and Mission Statement
