Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Experience various health care settings by choosing from a wide variety of interesting short- and long-term mandates

Requirements:

  • A recognized diploma from a school of nursing and valid OIIQ license to practice according to provincial regulations
  • A valid CPR certificate is required
  • At least one year of nursing experience not including stage or school placements
  • Bilingualism (English and French) spoken and written
  • Excellent clinical judgment, problem solving, critical thinking, professionalism, punctuality and ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as directed by Health Canada

  • Provide visits to assess the patient's needs and update the plan of care
  • Perform therapeutic, preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as directed by the attending physician
  • Perform clinical pronouncement of death and provide support to family, as applicable to licensure
  • Maintain accurate patient records, charts, progress notes, reports and prepare care plans timely
