Job Description:

The Inpatient Unit at Arthur Rank Hospice provides expert care to patients with complex and end of life care needs. We are holistic in our approach and the care is tailored to each person's specific needs. The compassionate team of Nurses and Healthcare Assistants provide practical and holistic care supporting patients and their families.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide professional, patient centred palliative care
  • Ensure highest possible standards of care are received by patients, their families and carers
  • Lead, support and encourage sharing of knowledge and skills within the team
  • Work internal shift pattern including earlies, lates, long days, nights and weekends

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)
  • Post registration experience in palliative care or in community
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Enhanced Level DBS Check with Children's and Adult's Barred Lists included
