Registered Nurse (RN) role at Atrium Health Urgent Care Huntersville providing high-quality, compassionate care for patients of all ages, addressing a wide range of medical needs. The team includes two providers, one Registered Nurse, two Certified Medical Assistants, and a Radiologic Technologist. The role serves a diverse patient population and requires confidence, empathy, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care
Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication
Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience
Oversee daily workflows for two clinical teams
Support 3 APPs, 4 physicians, and 6 clinical teammates
Ensure seamless coordination and compliance with standards
Strong understanding of patient flow management
Proficient or willing to learn in lab work, triaging, drug screening, worker’s compensation, and patient education
Provide excellent customer service
Show empathy and provide a friendly demeanor
Work effectively within a team environment
Accomplish solo tasks
Support the CMAs with higher acuity patients and issues
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice to have:
3 Years of RN experience with Urgent Care, ED, ICU
Experience with Patient Population from newborns to geriatrics
Preferred Language Skills Bilingual, with Spanish being the highest priority
Bachelor’s in nursing
