Job Description:

We are proud to be partnering with a leading UK charity to recruit a Registered Nurse for their specialist residential service in Derbyshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation making a real difference in people's lives through recovery-focused care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and support clinical governance and reporting processes
  • Oversee care planning and delivery, responding to clients' health needs
  • Manage and support clinical caseloads, including assessments and interventions
  • Deliver training to staff on clinical tools such as CIWA, COWS, and MUST
  • Respond to medical emergencies and manage risk and safeguarding concerns
  • Ensure safe and compliant medication administration
  • Promote health education, harm reduction, and disease prevention
  • Conduct clinical audits and support service improvement plans
  • Encourage and support BBV screening and vaccination programmes
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and produce reports as required

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with the right to work in the UK
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Interest or experience in working with individuals with complex needs
  • Strong understanding of health promotion and harm reduction
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in substance misuse, detox, or rehabilitation services
  • Knowledge of motivational interviewing or CBT approaches
  • Experience in clinical auditing and service improvement
