Job Responsibility:
A 20-bed unit with critically ill adult patients. Patients medical diagnoses commonly include respiratory insufficiency or failure, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), hepatic failure, renal failure, sepsis, coma, hypertensive crisis, GI hemorrhage, endocrine/electrolyte imbalance and cancer/bone marrow transplant patients who are experiencing complications
Utilize the nursing process to provide primary care to critically ill medical patients/families who experience a wide variety of complex, multi-system health problems and to participate in health activities
Requirements:
Current Michigan RN license for all candidates that have passed the NCLEX
3 Years ICU RN experience
ACLS certification is required or within six (6) months of hire date
Nice to have:
BSN preferred
ICU Experience
PACU experience
Charge nurse experience
Experience with electronic documentation
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
ACLS or CCRN certification
