Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Build on existing skill set
Practice in a nurse-led environment
Develop complex decision making and collaborative skills
Make a difference to Residents
Guide and support Residents in life-changing decisions
Mentor and share knowledge with Colleagues
Provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students
Role model professional behaviours
Advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care
Attend safeguarding training appropriate to role
Undertake additional training in associated areas
Be comfortable with technology or open to learning

Requirements:

Registered Nurse with at least 12 months experience in Health or Social Care
Valid Pin number
Commitment to profession through NMC standards of practice
Passion to mentor and share knowledge
Ability to provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students
Understanding of effective communication, both verbal and written
Ability to role model professional behaviours
Ability to advocate and deliver person-centred care
Ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect
Ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken
Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship or time-limited visa)
