Registered Nurse

• Provide safe, effective, quality patient care
• Work within a multidisciplinary team
• Participate in all learning and development activities

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• At least two years of post-graduate experience in a hospital setting is essential
• Experience working in palliative care in an inpatient or community setting, or working towards a post-graduate palliative care qualification is desirable
• Evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking, and analysis in your daily practice as a registered nurse
• Able to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
