Job Description

Registered Nurse - Surgical/Trauma ICU. ChristianaCare's Christiana and Wilmington hospitals have received their third Magnet® designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. We operate the only Level I Trauma Center between Philadelphia and Baltimore. The Surgical Critical Care Complex (SCCC) is a 22 bed Surgical / Trauma Intensive Care Unit. We have a cohesive Nursing Team who serves patients with a multidisciplinary approach. The Nurses on this unit work with neurosurgical, general surgical and adult/pediatric trauma patients. Requirements

  • BSN required
  • or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire
  • Must have minimum 1-2 years stepdown
  • Critical Care experience strongly preferred
  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
