Job Description

Atrium Health Primary Care Internal Medicine Ballantyne is an Internal Medicine outpatient clinic. Our clinic cares for patients ages 18 and older. We have 9 on-site providers and 1 Virtualist. We offer on-site lab, x-ray, and Bone Density services. Our care team includes Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, and a Dietician. Our clinic provides comprehensive quality health care to include well visits, management of chronic health conditions, and acute conditions.

Job Responsibility

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
2 years of RN experience preferred
Prior leadership and ambulatory experience preferred
BSN required
RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program

Nice to have

2 years of RN experience
Prior leadership and ambulatory experience
