Registered Nurse Supervisor

• Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care
• Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline processes
• Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, procedures, and standards of practice
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on clinical assessments
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and utilization management activities

• Current Registered Nurse License
• Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Experience in long-term care is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques
• Skills in medication administration, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and basic life support are essential
• Ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a supportive work environment
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and staff members
