Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Conducting pregnancy testing and counselling
Following up abnormal pathology results and arranging patient callbacks
Dispensing oral contraceptive repeats (as appropriate)
Providing telephone information and referral support
Maintaining clinical rooms to high standards, including hygiene and infection control
Assisting GPs with IUD insertions
Participating in service improvement activities and team meetings
Managing reception triage and appointment coordination

Requirements:

Current AHPRA/NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse in NSW
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Proficient computer skills, with experience using medical software
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
NSW Working with Children Check
National Police Check
NSW Driver Licence

Nice to have:

Experience in sexual health settings and/or unplanned pregnancy support is highly desirable
