Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing
• Provide direct care or influences care for acutely/critically ill patients who are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems in a setting that provides intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required upon hire
• ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire
• TNCC/ATCN required within six (6) months of hire
• Previous ICU experience preferred, will train qualified RN with other Critical Care experience
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing
• Social Perceptiveness: Ability to work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Adaptability/Flexibility: Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to situations
• Time Management: Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work
• Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills

Previous ICU experience preferred
