We are seeking a After Hours Registered Nurse (RN) to provide critical support to patients and families across the Blue Ridge Care territory during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role is ideal for a compassionate nurse who thrives in independent decision-making and is dedicated to delivering quality hospice care outside of traditional hours. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse After Hours (RN), in accordance with public health nursing standards, practices, and policies, will provide and arrange for hospice care for patients and families in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team. The RN makes initial assessments, judgments, and treatment decisions based on patient and family needs and wishes, in alignment with professional skills and hospice philosophy.
