Job Description

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established elderly care provider to recruit a Registered Nurse (RGN) for a nursing home located in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered General Nurse to join a well-supported and reputable care provider delivering high-quality care to elderly residents within a professional nursing environment. The home provides elderly nursing care and prides itself on delivering person-centred care whilst maintaining strong clinical standards across the service. Working as part of an experienced clinical team, the successful Registered Nurse will play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, effective and compassionate care whilst supporting the wider nursing and care teams. This role would suit a confident and experienced nurse who enjoys working within elderly care and takes pride in delivering high standards of nursing care.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to elderly residents
  • Administer medications safely and in line with NMC guidelines
  • Develop and maintain accurate care plans and clinical documentation
  • Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Work collaboratively with carers, nurses and management teams
  • Support residents with varying levels of dependency and clinical need
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards
  • Promote dignity, respect and person-centred care at all times
  • Support and mentor junior care staff where required
  • Contribute towards maintaining a safe and positive clinical environment

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMC PIN
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working within a care home setting
  • Strong elderly care experience
  • Confident managing clinical interventions and medication administration
  • Experience completing care plans and clinical documentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and compassionate approach to care delivery
  • Unfortunately newly qualified nurses or nurses with solely bank/agency experience cannot be considered
