Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver individualized care using the nursing process—assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, mobilizing resources and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Promote patient safety by implementing risk-reduction strategies and reporting safety events promptly
  • Educate patients and families adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs and supporting readiness for discharge
  • Coordinate care and discharge planning through an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring continuity across the healthcare continuum
  • Lead and delegate effectively fostering teamwork and supporting unlicensed personnel
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and unit performance
  • Maintain professional growth through ongoing education, competency completion, and participation in shared governance activities

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association, ACLS, PALS
  • Having 1-2 years nursing experience
  • Med Surg, ED, Peri-Op Experience
