Registered Nurse with a NY license
Experience in a medical-surgical step-down or intermediate care unit
Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7
Critical care skills including cardiac monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing airway support
Proficiency with EPIC charting
Experience responding to rapid response and code situations
Proficiency in administering IV therapy, including peripheral lines
Flexibility to float across various adult care areas
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Job Responsibility

Manage adult acute care patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions in a 26-bed Intermediate Care Unit
Provide critical care skills such as cardiac monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing airway support
Chart using EPIC
Respond to rapid response and code situations
Administer IV therapy, including peripheral lines
Float across various adult care areas
Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
