Job Description:

Registered Nurse (RN) – Atrium Health Lincoln OR. Surgical Services at Lincoln includes a modern procedural suite with three operating rooms (ORs) and two endoscopy rooms. Our surgical specialties include General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery focused on spinal procedures. In Endoscopy, the team performs a broad range of procedures, including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, and select cardiology-related procedures such as loop recorder insertions, TEEs, and cardioversions. We operate Monday through Friday, with on‑call coverage for weekends and holidays. Routine surgical volumes average approximately 270 OR cases and 350 endoscopy cases per month.

Job Responsibility:

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements:

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred
