Registered Nurse, Neurosurgical Progressive Care, Nights

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses
• Perform physical assessments and neuro checks
• Provide surgical site care to prevent infection
• Serve as patient advocate and educate patients and loved ones to their disease process and plan of care
• Work closely with physicians and other departments, such as physical, occupational, and speech therapists
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement

• Associate's Degree - Nursing
• 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
• RNs with strong clinical skills who are looking to grow in knowledge and experience
• RNs who have NOT worked in neuro who are compassionate and caring, willing to learn, team players, have strong clinical skills, and are reliable
