Job Description:

Baptist Health is hiring a Circulating Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Operating Room team at Baptist Jacksonville (Downtown) in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-time, Weekend Nights (Saturday-Monday; 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) opportunity. This role requires call with a 40-minute response time and qualifies for competitive call and differential pay.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
  • Organize and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel
  • Coordinate of care provided by ancillary services
  • Include patients and significant others (SO)/ families in developing an individualized plan of care
  • Educate of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses

Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
  • Telemetry Experience
  • Hospital Experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
  • Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
  • Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) Preferred
