The 7th Floor Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony Hospital is a medical surgical unit where we primarily treat septic patients. Our department has 36 beds, and we see a range of surgical patients, ETOH withdrawal, cellulitis and treat many chronic conditions such as COPD and CHF. We have a great culture focused on teamwork and positivity. Our nurse communication scores have been some of the highest in the hospital. We are an innovative unit, often where hospital-wide projects begin. We are looking for dynamic, hard-working people, who are looking for a strong medical surgical floor. Job Responsibility:
Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the health care team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient
Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act
Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values
Requirements:
Associates Degree in Nursing required
Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
One year experience preferred
Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
RN License required
Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

What we offer:
$20,000 sign-on bonus (for qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience)
