It is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Ambulatory Imaging Sciences nursing team for an RN with at least 1 year of acute care experience. This dynamic position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and provides exposure to Diagnostic Imaging specialties. . We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI's, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound Applicants should have an interest in working in a multidisciplinary team setting focused on team work, excellent communication skills, customer service experience, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain current in the knowledge of radiologic nursing is required. Imaging sciences, critical care, or ED experience preferred. BLS required.
Job Responsibility:
Provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards
Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level
Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services
Assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Provides exposure to Diagnostic Imaging specialties
Providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI's, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound
Requirements:
Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program
Active New York State RN license in good standing
Minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience
At least 1 year of acute care experience
BLS required
Ability to remain current in the knowledge of radiologic nursing
Nice to have:
Imaging sciences, critical care, or ED experience
Interest in working in a multidisciplinary team setting
