Under direction and in accordance with established standards provides direct patient care
Serves as lead worker
Assist physician with rounds
Reviews member medical records to assure that physician orders are posted, medication and member care treatment and observations are charted
Verify number and classification of staff available to assign/reassign
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Requirements:
graduation from an approved nursing education program resulting in an associate or diploma degree in nursing and two years of progressively responsible professional nursing experience
OR a bachelor's degree in nursing and one year of professional nursing experience
OR a master's degree in nursing
licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
ability to pass a background check
ability to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical
ability to meet all agency vaccine/health-related policies and guidance
ability acquire and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate
ability to utilize office equipment, including personal computers
ability to attend seminars, conferences, and trainings to stay current on methods, tools, ideologies, or other industry related topics relevant to the job duties
ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate
ability to perform heavy work (lifting up to 100 lbs, frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs)
ability to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime
