Job Description:

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Centennial as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The ICU is a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients, specializing in Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Surgical, Medical, Cardiology, pulmonology, Trauma and Gastrointestinal. The team utilizes specialty devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella and CRRT, and focuses on high quality patient care, process improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The hospital is a Level III trauma center, primary stroke center, and primary heart attack center.

Job Responsibility:

Provide care in a fast-paced ICU environment with high acuity patients
Care for patients in Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Surgical, Medical, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Trauma and Gastrointestinal
Utilize specialty devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella and CRRT
Participate in shared governance and process improvement
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
RN – Registered Nurse
BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
2 Years of Experience

Nice to have:

Med Surg ICU experience
