The RN must be qualified to care for the highest level of care, IMU, and have special training in critical care, oncology concepts, surgery and medicine. Nurses hired into this area will have the opportunity to apply to the New to Emergency Room Transition to Practice program after one year. While not required, a cover letter is highly recommended when applying to this position.
Job Responsibility

Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California
BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six months of hire date
Minimum one year of recent RN experience in an acute care inpatient setting at the IMU/PCU level or higher acuity
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to work within a busy team environment
