Job Description
Mainehealth, Gynecology Cancer Care is seeking a Registered Nurse with 2+ years of clinical experience in Oncology, Med Surg, Acute Care or other high acuity expertise. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an exceptional group of Gyn Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Social Workers and Patient Service Representatives. The Gyn Oncology team is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, patient centered care in this specialized field. We offer a M-F, 4 day work week, closed on weekends and holidays.
Job Responsibility
Provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse
Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date
One year of recent RN experience required
2+ years of clinical experience in Oncology, Med Surg, Acute Care or other high acuity expertise
Experience in triage nursing, both over the phone and in person, is strongly preferred
2-3 years of bedside higher acuity nursing in a hospital setting
Critical thinking skills
Ability to transition from various tasks
Nice to have
BSN preferred
