Job Responsibility:
Supporting the arrival of patients to Boston Children’s Hospital, through the planning, assessment and implementation of a plan of care for a complex patient population
Assisting in the coordination of patient care services, reviewing patient charts, working with administrative, and case coordinators to ensure a precise plan of care
Working with medical and surgical teams to devise a plan of care
Working directly with patients and their families, acting as a liaison between department providers and staff
Collaborating with the home country government and payors
Planning complex treatment plans and developing plans for an extension
Facilitating thorough and safe repatriation to the home country by assisting with provider to provider sign out, ensuring medication and supply availability and inflight medical team/equipment and requirements
Attending Embassy meetings and monitoring patient visits in order to relay clear plans to Embassy partners to determine in country length of stay
Working (5) 8 hour shifts as needed/per diem
Requirements:
BSN
3+ years of RN experience
MA RN license
Nice to have:
Pediatric experience
Experience working in multiple nursing specialties (can be in either an inpatient or outpatient setting)
