Unit Description: As a Nurse in our 26-bed General Surgery unit, you will treat a wide range of surgical and trauma patients whose length of stay ranges from 1-7 days or extended due to surgical complexity. Our General Surgery RNs are responsible for treating patients that have undergone the following surgeries - general surgery, colorectal, dental, trauma, plastics and weight loss. You will also provide acute care for adult burn patients. You will be part of an energetic, multidisciplinary team that is flexible, supportive and full of people who are willing to teach you. We promote and support the professional growth of our nurses through certifications and continued education opportunities. Our nurses also have the opportunity to advance through the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP).
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required
ADN required, BSN preferred
Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
