Job Description:

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is now hiring Registered Nurses for our Flex/Float Team! This is a FT position requiring a commitment of 3 shifts a week. Openings for nights (12 hr shifts). Self scheduling. ED experience required. Ability to be flexible and float between Baptist Downtown and 2 additional campus or Freestanding ED's.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
  • Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
  • Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
  • Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
  • Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
  • Act as the patient advocate
  • Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
  • 2 years Emergency Department and Freestanding ED Experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Nice to have:

  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
  • Master's Degree - Nursing
