Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Registered Nurse for our GE Lab at Baptist Medical Center South. This opening is a Part-time Days position and requires call with a 45-minute response time. This RN GE Lab, Part-time position will be located at Baptist Medical Center South.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
  • Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
  • Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
  • Assisting the primary RN with admission, discharge and transfers as needed
  • Completing the admission assessment and skin check for all new admits
  • This position requires call

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree - Nursing
  • 1-2 years Surgical Services Experience
  • Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
  • Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
