KS RN License required
Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required
Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's
BLS from the American Heart Association required within 8 weeks from hire
ALCS from the American Heart Association required within six months of hire
PALS from the American Heart Association or ENPC required within six months of hire
NIHSS required within six months of hire
TNCC required within six months of hire

Job Responsibility

Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient

Job Responsibility

Provides direct and individualized nursing care to a group of patients based on the application of scientific principles and ENA standards

Responds and participates in emergency care
Provides emergency care according to ENA standards and unit policy and procedures
Follows nursing care and all related activities in ER according to policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of the department and Medical Center
