Job Description

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN day shift opportunity. The Emergency Department at Baptist Jacksonville is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment providing advanced emergency care to patients across Northeast Florida. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives under pressure, values teamwork, and is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide care to patients requiring treatment of medical, surgical, or emergent conditions
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis and plan of care
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
  • Serve as a patient advocate to ensure safety and satisfaction
  • Participate in staff meetings and unit-based initiatives
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health

  • 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
  • Telemetry Experience
  • Emergency Department Experience
  • Hospital Experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing
  • Licensed Registered Nurse

  • Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care
